Tbh at this point this movie might hurt her reputation and career more than if she did no movie.

 

Even tho shes not the one at fault, when a movie is this broadly hated and your name is all over it and reviews, u end up getting associated with it

 

I had fears of her being involved with a DC musical just because she is a recording artist and their main fan base is weird. But the fact she doesn't exactly sound that great in the movie is worse. Now the criticism is encroaching into her main career which should be stopped asap. I think Harlequin was probably supposed to do this but it doesn't look like many people actually listened...

People will suddenly appreciate this film 10 years from now much like they did with ARTPOP. All this back and forth is gonna drive people to eventually wanna see it for themselves; watch it get more traction when it's finally released on streaming.

And honestly trying to make a DC movie into a musical was also a terrible idea period.

 

Young male audiences (who hate musicals) are the biggest fans of comic book type heros or villains. Know your audience, why on Earth would Todd even attempt this?

 

Theres taking risks and then theres outright sabotage. This wasnt a calculated risk, it was outright stupid tbh

No, the movie simply isn’t good. ARTPOP is a good album.

That's great if it ends up #2 musical behind Wicked for the year but, and I promise I'm not trying to be negative (just trying to get some perspective), how many musicals are actually given wide/big screen release each year?  I'm guessing the list is kinda short, no?

Tbh. The bar isnt set high at all so its easy to beat with such big names and being a sequel of such a well known movie

 

But at the end of the day... a terrible movie with reviews as bad as they can be under performing is still a terrible movie with reviews as bad as they can be under performing

That would still put them at a major loss though so while we may take small refuge in that, Warner Bros absolutely will not. That’s not even near what the movie needs to break even.

I appreciate the enthusiasm but this is not the kind of film that gets to cult classic status. The reasons that people hate it are far too deeply engrained in the film for that to happen.
