Tragic. We should be setting up enforced shelters and preparing LARGE checks for affected individuals. It COULD be possible if that’s what our money was used for instead of bombing innocent people in a country on the other side of the world. Tell that to the GOP members of Congress who both blocked pro-active FEMA funding and refuse to reconvene Congress as these crises unfold to increase it. We have forgotten our public MANNERS

All the boat owners docked here get special rates and priority booking at local hotels and the tall condos built along the water have people on the second, third, and fourth floors inviting their upstairs neighbors down to safer levels to ride the storm out. Wish we could coordinate and coexist like this all the time Whimsical bitch

StarstruckIllusion 53,565
Also the timing is crazy… That region has dealt with enough after Helene. Florida’s future is becoming more and more unliveable with these ever intensifying and rapid hurricanes and future flooding. I really hope everyone gets out okay from the hurricane and no one loses their lives, especially any of you here. It’s distressing to watch from afar but it’s nothing compared to actually living it

It’s distressing to watch from afar but it’s nothing compared to actually living it My coworker and I were actually talking about this earlier. It's been raining nonstop for like a whole week now, all day too, so all the retention ponds, lakes, and rivers are already full. And this storm is supposed to bring 15+ inches of rain and a record storm surge of around 12 feet or higher on the west coast We might not need to wait for the ice caps to melt for Florida to drown, these hurricanes are gonna wipe us out first 3 minutes ago, AndiGaga said: When is it coming?
