well it's not her fault, but big accounts on insta or twitter who just post about the film have top comments saying the plot changed and it became a musical because she was casted. However if that was the reason why did they not utilise her actual voice and used 'Lee's' voice instead? Idk it feels like the movie has been out for 24 hours ww and everyone acts as if they've already seen it.

Thankfully it's not her fault, she still got praise. But she does need to be careful what films she picks. I know Harley Quinn is an awesome character, but a comic book musical was always a questionable choice. And someone should have read the script and saw how bad it was.

And I wasn't telling you to be nicer; I was saying how gross and outdated the use of that word as a pejorative is. But I did go pretty hard; it was the first time I saw that word used here so I felt the need to pop off.

Is it even fair to call this a comic book movie? This Joker/Harley Quinn's story isn't based off of any comic story line that I'm aware of. There are no superheroes in the movie..

The way that I havent seen any katy perry threads since this movie came out and is being panned harder than 143. Karma for half this site dogpiling on her for weeks on end (justified or not). And now seeing how fun it is to be on the receiving end on that kind of dogpiling.

OMG I knew it was doing that well but I expected a higher cinemascore than this. Both critics and audiences rejecting ugh. But I’m still going to see it. I feel guilty I haven’t gone yet. 
 

Doesn’t matter though. This will just be a blip in Gagas career.

I left Twitter bc even if there's many nice and funny ppl on this social network, there's also a lot of toxic ppl who spread bad energies. Too bad that I used this word as a slang to qualify the critics, it's not fun for the ppl who have this condition... 

Twitter stans let their intrusive thoughts, their "id", talk and says very bad things toward individuals or group of ppl. I left it cause they like to denigrate and dehumanise famous ppl or casual fans, which completely disgusted me.

HOG kind of suffers from the same issue as FAD in that the focus becomes something very boring. In FADs case, a courtcase, in HOG it was business meetings. To me it feels like a very male perspective on both stories.

People want to know why Patrizia went as far as to have her husband killed, why would they care about the business tactics of Gucci? Long-winded talks about stores in Japan, Tom Ford and one of kind loafers could all be cut out. Same goes for the rehashing of all the events from the first Joker in the courtroom.

HOG had some comic relief cause it was camp AF and Gaga and Adam had chemistry, but Adam's character was very bland and one-dimensional. FAD has only slight comic relief and tries to find the camp and relief in musical scenes. The chemistry is there, but hard to find convincing because we don't get to know Lee at all, making her in turn very one-dimensional.

That and the HOG accents threw people off.

I find both movies entertaining for different reasons, but the wasted potential also annoys me to no end.

She did have some good scenes in this film though but others were strange to say the least
