tbh, the amount of lashings directed at her seems to be pretty minimal compared to Todd and the film in general. but I agree she's probably taking a step back this weekend until the drama fizzles out.

People are definitely praising her acting, but unfortunately I don’t think people are going to differentiate between her work and the overall movie. They’re just gonna say the movie and everyone associated with it sucked. Like, when people in the future think of Joker 2, they won’t be like “yeah, the one where Gaga does excellent acting.” They’re gonna be like “yeah, that one sucked”

I did expect her to be active on social media today, but it's important to remember her career doesn't stop and end at this movie and she has a single coming out in a fortnight. I always assumed that this mini JFAD/Harlequin promo era was going to end today and she'd start teasing LG7 next week. I don't think she's even that bothered by it. Post-premiere reviews were hardly raving and looking at her interview with Joaquin earlier this week where they both laugh when asked what they thought of the final edit, it's obvious it's a bit of a dead horse. No point beating it. Onwards to the next thing.

I can guarantee Gaga doesn’t give a **** about the reception for Joker rn. I’m sure after she saw it the first time, she knew it was going to bomb. No doubt in my mind. LG7 is around the corner for a reason. Let’s focus on the lead. I’m sure she is!
