So that we can fully absorb and enjoy this Joker mini era, avoid any confusions GP might have around which project is which, and also in terms of longevity I’m afraid the lead might not have much longevity if its out late Oct, since Christmas music season is soon, people will likely switch to streaming holiday or holiday appropriate songs like DWAS, which I don’t think LG7 lead is anything like. Besides, the album is confirmed for Feb 2025 and she said lead soon instead of October, could her team have pushed it? Gaga kicking off the new year just feels so right to me. I know we waited for too long and that my take might upset some of you but remember I just want the best for her and we have quite the material to enjoy for now. If anything, i think the vague “lead single in october” is mart of the marketing strategy. But for her acting „the era“ is the lead up and premieres, not the aftermath. There is no tour coming or tv performances except interviews right after. And that’s fine. releasing LG7 lead in a few weeks is perfect timing, this is what „riding the wave“ means….
