Harlequin might be Gaga's rock version/cover of those jazz songs? I'm hyped.

I did a little digging and I found multiple versions of that song. But it looks like "The Joker" got famous through a broadway/musical. And Gaga's version is entirely different, oh Lady Gaga the SHAPE SHIFTER that you are. #Harlequin might be a preparation to LG7 edm rock/industrial rock?

honestly quite glad its a side project cause I wouldn't enjoy a full rock era from Gaga, its just not the genre for me

It still sounds like pop to me, with rock influences, but not full on rock. I love this take on classics and her guts to do a 'jazz' album without Tony and just go for it.

I keep seeing people refer to original songs on Harlequin, but I wonder which ones do they refer to?

As far as I can tell they are all covers apart from Folie a deux which is an instrumental walz composed by Gaga. Maybe Happy Mistake? That tile doesn't ring a Bell. 

In the meantine, lets envision Gaga ripping these classics a new one, I cant wait!

Gaga confirmed 2 original songs on Harlequin, Folie à deux (waltz with her vocals) & Happy Mistake.

Lady Gaga talking about #Harlequin album: "The production is completely unique and original. The 2 original songs on the album are FOLIE À DEUX, the waltz, which I sing as well, and then... a song called HAPPY MISTAKE."
