I agree it will officially be LG 6.5 because that’s what she wants to call it. End of story.

Edit: I thought of ASIB as her seventh album because it was the seventh batch of songs released under Gaga’s name. But if she doesn’t count it, it doesn’t officially count. It’s just how they counted up in my head, it wasn’t in any attempt to disrespect Gaga.

i think she is calling LG6.5 because there are covers. But Harlequin is still a solo Gaga album. 

LG1 - LG7 are albums/ep with all-original songs.

6.5 seems very clear... its a side project like her jazz albums

 

Its not going to have Radio Singles, mass promotion etc. It will probably just be released... we may or may not get a music video and performance for a song or two but that will probably be it at the most

 

And its cool. I wouldnt want anything too elaborate to distract from the main event (LG7) anyway. A side release for us to enjoy is more than awesome like that!

I still find it wild that TFM is considered an 'album'. It's an extension of TF. It's an EP. It should be LG 1.5.

The Fame + Monster (LG1), Born This Way (LG2), ARTPOP (LG3), Joanne (LG4), Chromatica (LG5), Harlequin (LG6), and LG7 as LG7. Case closed.

Real fans know The Fame Monster is a real album and Gaga intended that to stay. It was just marketing and business to call it an EP/Re-release. 

Chromatica is LG6, Gaga called it that and it’s in the booklet, promo etc. can’t change that. 

A Star Is Born obviously is a Gaga album but doesn’t count as an “LG” just like Cheek To Cheek and Love For Sale. (LGTB1 and LGTB2? )

It really is just semantics for little monsters- it’s more of a workaround way of saying “this is a Lady Gaga joint, but it’s a companion to my body of work”. Had she not clarified we would probably spontaneously combust.

Im looking at it more of a mini era, not supported by a tour, major rollout, multiple videos, etc.

I mean I know it confuses people and mostly Wikipedia writers who apperently ARE us, the fans, so I don’t get this confusion with order.

I'm labeling her solo projects exactly as you wrote it with Harlequin being LG7, while upcoming 2025 album as LG8.

Cheek to Cheek is C1 (collaborative one), Love For Sale C2; ASIB is S1 (soundtrack one), Top Gun is S2 and upcoming Joker FAD Soundtrack as S3.
