How is it not clear? This is a Republican commenter promoting the Green Party as a valid vote, nothing more complicated than that.

Anyway, not a single post about how the Nevada Democrats did in fact sue the Green Party to boycott them like they do everywhere? Interesting.

Read the analysis of the court documents. The Democrats actively tried to keep the Green Party off the ballot. They did in fact, as Stein claims, send the Party the wrong paper work in a seemingly intentional comedy of errors on their part.

It is anti-democratic and concerning and not at all a rarity. It's frankly disgusting that Democratic voters don't seem to care about these tactics.

How is a Republican commenter stating "vote for trump or if you just can't vote Green" advocating the Green Party as a valid vote? Considering that you can't vote for the Greens in the state in question and the commenter is clearly suggesting the green party are a lesser valid option to Trump. 

Yes issues clearly occurred in the secretary of state office's communication but are you telling me no member of the Nevada Green Party or wider Green Party election team knew how to read a form and ensure it's correct and proper? This isn't just your neighbour down the street making a mistake, this is a National party's presidential campaign apparatus - and it is not their first ever campaign.

I think it’s pretty funny that you’re accusing others of being hysterical when you’re basically insinuating that an unforced clerical error is somehow an anti-democratic conspiracy. Secondly, zero evidence from the commenter that they’re a Republican. Thirdly, the Nevada Democratic Party sued to keep them off the ballot because *they didn’t follow the proper procedure* and Nevada Dem party officials aren’t responsible for sending out the paperwork, that would come from the Secretary of State’s office.

Their initial submission was entirely correct though. They were told by the Secretary of State to submit something else to be approved. I don't know why people here are pretending it would be logical for the Greens to then meticulously scan the supposedly "correct" document for errors, especially the "error" of one meaningless line. Why would anyone do that? Because they expect the Secretary of State to mess with them? Why would you expect to be denied access to an election because you fill in paper work you are told to submit to be given access?

It's selective criticism is what it is. A party should not be able to be sued off the ballot by another party for filling in paper work that is officially yet falsely offered as an obligatory correction to a perfectly fine submission. Is it a mistake? Yes. No one is arguing that. It's the unnecessarily targeted punishment that makes no sense.

They did follow the proper procedure lol. Y'all are just not reading what happened, I guess? Their proper procedure was rejected, forcibly amended and then sued by the party that literally controls the Secretary of State office. To call that suspicious is not a conspiracy, it's just plain common sense (and I agree that that is not enough to prove anything but the question here is if this is anti-democratic and of course it is).

As for the comment, I'll admit I can be wrong. I just think it's being overthought. Neither her or the commenter are even talking to specifically Nevada voters, it's just a shared general sentiment that the Democrats need to be stopped by any means necessary. Obviously you can disagree with that or find that entirely disagreeable but to act like it's news worthy that she would like a comment in that direction is a little humorous to me. The Democrats suing the Greens over a laughable "error" is literally the news worthy item here.
