Does that mean music without lyrics? Some songs used for Waltz have lyrics like Jazz songs or ballads.

Is "classical" a clue that it's instrumental? In that case, it wouldn't get nominated under best new song at the Oscars, it would be bundled in with the score nomination. It would still be a slay, especially if the score won. I wasn't expecting her to contribute any new material to the soundtrack and make it all about acting but this would be a great bonus.

She co-wrote them with White Sea. If you're talking about Chromatica I, II & III

Or were you talking about TCB interludes?

Oh wow so she wrote the music for the waltz sequence? Is there anything this woman can’t do?!

She composed music for Top Gun as well right? Feels like she’s constantly expanding her talents and proving her musicianship. It’s so so impressive.

I think by waltz she’s referring to the time signature of the song. Should still have vocals, it’s just a 1 2 3, 1 2 3 - as opposed to a pop 4 count. Similar to Die with a Smile.
