Was the DWAS wig a nod to her ARTPOP style?

It definitely reminds me of the one she wore a lot during ARTPOP era. Both are outrageously over the top and campy and share a similar colour too, no? Or maybe I'm wrong and the DWAS wig harks back to a different time period.

Maybe "Sexxx Dreams" ft. Bruno (Vegas debt edition) can still happen folks.

No. It's Dusty Springfield style of wig likely chosen as a nod to the sound/vibe of the song, which is very early 70s pop rock (with a little bit of soul), like Dusty. I can almost guarantee that was the inspiration.

The Venus wig is iconic. I made a copy of it using two wigs and four pony tail clip-ons for volume. It was so heavy. This new one looks nothing like it. It’s not the voluminous masterpiece at all.
