The lead will be commercial- Gaga is a commercial pop artist and with all the comments how she found new interest in pop music I think she wants to have big numbers. Even Harlequin project showed that she found new joy in releasing music. All the teasing, filming a MV, recording a live show. The cover photo shoot with all the Easter eggs! This is a great moment to drop a strong lead. Everything in the top 5 had been declining in numbers for weeks. Monthly listenere could literally mean one listen the whole month. Gaga has not historically had high listeners until recent release so she doesnt have a high number of long term casual fans that often listen to her. Lets also not forget some of these listens could be coming from Bruno Mars fans as well (who historically has consistently had more listeners) Look im not saying this smash doesnt help her or increase her odds but id still take it with a grain of salt and manage expectations in case it doesnt happen The #1 position atm due to competition needs like 250 points.
