Huge YouTube stream numbers from the first 24 hours are mostly by fandoms and die-hard stans who are chronically online and care a lot about charts and accolades, and Bruno doesn't have that. 5 million is really good.

This feels like downplaying. For two mainstream fanbases this doesn’t feel huge.

Considering its not 2012 anymore when youtube was hitting peak views... and considering this song wasnt hyped for very long (and therefore not overly anticipated) Its not that bad

 

The song also feels a bit like a grower tbh. I think i only loved it after maybe 3 listens

 

It could be better but it could be a lot worse. Tbh this is kind of in line with expectations. I imagined in the first 24H to hit a range of 5M to 10M views... it looks like it will end the day near 6M... its on the lower end of the range I was hoping for but still in the range

I agree its not huge. But tbh not overly disapointing either

 

This is a collab that was only confirmed a day and a half before release so anticipation was limited and unknown by most people

 

On top of that its more of a ballad not a club banger. Songs like this are a bit of a grower on some people and dont get as much replay value for everyone right off the bat

 

5M is maybe slightly less than I would have expected but not that much less.

The song is actually growing on me. After a couple of listens the chorus plays in my head randomly. I bet it will have way more consistently growing views in the next weeks.

I think just over 2M to 2.5M if I remember correctly (then decayed quickly the following days)
