I feel like they thought this would be a high point in the 143 rollout/solidifying Katy as an icon.

Ya’ll will hate me, but she does deserve it…. This era could have been such a slay for her wow… updating her singles to diamond status and now this, it would have been the perfect reintroduction and reminder of who she is and all she did so far. All she had to do was give us good music and not work with #him
