beyonce and taylor are both overrated but atleast beyonce's voice is undeniable and her vocal abilities are one in a million - also shes influenced countless artists and has been considered the STANDARD for vocals and dancing since the 2000's.... 

taylor has the most sales right now, but in 5-10 years someone will be bigger than she will be, and she will be forgotten, her voice, music and dancing skills are not enough to be considered a legend.

who has she influenced? olivia rodrigo? beyonce has way more memorable hits and shes regarded as the best singer, taylor is not a proficient singer, shes literally in the bottom half of the list when it comes to singers.

theres plenty of successful artists bro, 

but decades later they remember, MJ, mariah, whitney - the most talented ones, not the basic ones who cant sing for ish

I think they they're close but Taylor absolutely deserved the top spot hands down. She has put out  more work, has been pretty much way more successful and I think is extremely humble while charting a completely unique path. Bey is fantastic but she just isn't #1 in this case, an extremely close 2nd but for a different set of reasons. I think Taylor is up there with the beatles while bey is up there with janet, whitney, madonna. Both hugely successful for different reasons.
