That thread is the most pathetically hypocritical thing I have ever seen on this cult site.

The exact same members who I have seen going after Katy fans who use the same "no proof/extenuating circumstances/one-sided accusations/he is an asshole but that is not punishable by law" arguments to ward off the Dr. Luke (or "Dr. Puke" as you personally like to call him?) hate

It really saddens me how so many people here were so vocal about Luke, just to go and proudly support a different abuser. Seems like nobody actually cared about Kesha’s assault or Luke being a rapist, they just wanted a reason to (rightfully) dogpile on Katy…

Writing in his autobiography how he planned to murder his girlfriend, how he lit woman's pubic hair on fire etc isn't edgy or artistic or boundary pushing it's just straight up premeditation. And don't quote me saying he was just playing a character or something cause you know he wasn't and idgaf

He wasn't playing a character and he's obviously a disturbed individual with borderline serial killer behavior, since if I remember correctly he has brought up severe family trauma that shaped up his mental development. It was in plain sight even when he was relying on the shock value of the "metal singer" persona imo... But I don't think most of people listening to him - especially on this site - condone his actions at all, it's just that many people separate art from the artist and like his music. I even saw him live in 2015, but there's no way I'd support his depravity.

And separating the art from the artist is bullshit since his life directly impacts his art. And most of those on this site who support him would **** on Katy Perry so it's just the issue of picking and choosing.

But yes, people have the right to support or not whoever they want. It just says a lot if you directly fund someone who does foul things.

P.S. Family trauma does not give you a free pass to be a weirdo and is disgusting to say as a lot of people have had immense trauma and don't act like that.
