One of her biggest albums and one that she uses to define her artistry is Born This Way that has her political beliefs all over the album. Joanne as well. It’s pretty hard to not entwine the two when she has made it a pretty big part of her career. In addition to performances, concerts and fundraisers she has participated in or helped organize on behalf of political campaigns and personal advocacies. Not to mention her activism and political speeches since the beginning of her career.

Ewl don’t politicize ‘Born This Way’. Freedom has been made political by those who oppose us. Lets not forget that.

Yeah, that's to normalize sharing preferred pronouns so that anyone who needs to share them won't be the odd ones out.

Idk why but this reminded me of this scene in “Billy Madison” :

The little boy pees his pants and is embarrassed by it. Billy (Adam Sandler) doesn’t want him to be embarrassed so he “pees” his pants too. The other kid is gonna make fun of Billy for peeing his pants but Billy says it’s the cool thing to do. Then all the kids pee their pants. Now the kid doesn’t feel bad all because Billy was sweet. Oh god, did I really just use this as an example for preferred pronouns.

Is this really controversial? I mean it is cringe when people like Kamala uses pronouns on twitter bios. Did she or anyone asked him about Project 2025?

Why is putting pronouns I'm bio cringe :triggered:

I don't want despotic psychopaths with nuclear arms at their erratic disposal.

Fortunately Trump doesn't have executive order on the decisions, choices & desires of the American public.

Reminds me of this Olly Alexander quote:

Being political is unavoidable. An LGBTQ+ life is politicized whether we like it or not’,. He continues ‘The sort of fight for LGBT rights [...] has shown we had to be political for the rights we have today. That fight is not over [...]. On a personal level I understand when somebody might not want to engage politically due of their sexual preferences – because they do not feel an alliance to that, no values or it is just too complicated. But whoever we are now, I think, is politicized and we cannot escape that.’

They demand that anyone that comes to this country learn English but then get their diapers in a twist when it comes to a basic concept of said language.

not only english, literally most languages have pronouns, which also makes sense since they've never bother to learn any other language

I dont find pronouns cringe, pronouns are important, but someone like Kamala doesnt need a pronoun announcement on her bio. Its not a big deal though, its just a little bit cringe.

it was not an "announcement" she just put them there lol, it is in fact not a big deal at all, Kamala being a politician and putting her pronouns in her bio is no different than any other regular person doing the same and in no case there is real a reason for it "cringe" or embarassing only for doing that ... other than internal people's judgements of couse.

Nah, it was a softball grievance question for sure. She did, however, press him on his assertion that Christians wouldn’t need to vote again in 4 years, asked whether that signaled he wanted to end democracy and he essentially rambled for two minutes and refused to give a definitive answer.

No. He said that Christians in general don’t vote. He said they should vote for him in this election to get him in office, and then the Christians can go back to not voting

We are on a fan forum specifically dedicated to 37 year old pop star Lady Gaga in the year 2024. I don’t think any of us have the right to call things cringe.

Lady Gaga doesn't owe us anything
