Biden’s age was never a concern…? Biden being old has always been a talking point…? Even without the fumbles he’s had.

Bernie Sanders is older than Biden yet never attacked for his age. Its only after his heart attack that people were a bit concerned about his age for a while. So age was never the issue, its how age effects you that was the issue. And Biden is clearly effected by his age unlike Trump and Bernie.

Kind of funny the RNC spent their entire convention talking up the age issue with Biden, only for him to drop out seconds after it ends to replace him with someone half his age. 

Obviously will have zero impact on locked in voters for Trump who are ride or dies. But the RNC have spent months fueling a narrative, with media complicity, about age & associated problems - and now the only candidate that applies to is their own. Be interesting to see if the mentality they've tried to build of "Old=bad" with swing voters will bite them.

This is why Biden announcing he's stepping down after the RNC was a great move
