because if everything is new to you, you don't know yet if you like it or not

you learn your boundries as you experience life

and you should experience it and learn first with somebody on your level

not with a person who did it all when you were still a child, or not even born yet

It depends on the maturity of the 20-year-old. Also just because someone is older doesn't mean they're more likely to manipulate their younger partners. In my experience, older men who have bigger gaps with my age have always been more respectful, polite and kind to me. On the contrary younger men don't seem to know their values yet.

What makes 18 so special to be the line to determine if someone is mature enough to be responsible for all decisions in their life but if they are 17 they are still so innocent they have to be protected
