Before Jazz and piano ends, do you know what were the inspirations behind Gaga’s looks on J&P and her Jazz eras

I didn’t get interested in the fashion of the time, until recently, because I though the style was mostly noire and gloomy

but I remembered there was a huge nightlife boom with vedettes, variety shows, mambo, and many music shows full of energy and sensuality in Mexico, which and connect with her cover of sway 

were there other icons of the nightlife in the US? I only know about showgirls or Liza Minnelli

We've recently got some info from Sarah about J&P makeup inspo:

I believe this movie might've been on Folie a Deux's moodboard as well, since it contains a scene of the main female character putting on clown make-up

I also think 2024 J&P might be even more Harley inspired than LG7 (though they might overlap in visual cues!). Her black and platinum hair is basically a monochrome (more elegant) version of Harley's classic black and red hairstyle.
