Question, how does the election works there? Ive been kinda keeping up and I saw the Lab has 33% of the votes (400 seats) and the Cons withn 22% has around 100 seats. Did they lose the bigger distrites with more seats or what?

it's kinda complicated with many factors but broadly i think labour won a lot of seats marginally because reform was splitting the right-wing vote and came second in many places.

Each district or "constituency" votes, and a district is usually fairly small, whoever has the most votes for that district wins and that MP is elected  a seat in government. Whichever party secures 326 (I think) districts wins the election. So labour won around 412 districts, conservatives came second with around 112 or something. So it's a landslide win basically.

I voted for the first time in a UK general election (as a Canadian living in the UK for 6 years now). Felt great and glad the Tories (Conservatives) are out.

I am very upset by Labour leader Keir Starmer’s terrible stance on trans rights and Palestine though.

So in the UK First Past the Post system, it is essentially all about having lots of voters in lots of areas as opposed to having lots of voters in one area. So a UK general election is 650 seperate elections on 1 night. 

The primary reason that result looks the way it does is that the Tory vote collapsed in almost every seat it had. Think the average vote loss for the Tories in each seat is about -20% now that the majority of seats are declared. And in those seats the opposition vote either stayed stable enough to benefit from the Tory collapse, or picked up enough extra votes to benefit from the Tory collapse.
