and now there's no denying it was a stupid decision, the whole issue has been pushed under the carpet. No talk about it from Conservatives OR Labour. If Labour came out and advocated rejoining, they probably wouldn't even get elected. We know it would make things better, but still people don't want it, it's the most ridiculous act of national self-harm

we still see some consequences of this decision in the UK and the EU, especially business wise, it was so dumb, like things worked, not perfectly but still worked.

I'm not 100% following but how is the Labour's candidate? I read that he's very pro Israel for example, but I'm not familiar with his opinions about trans rights and LGBTQ+ rights

he's basically centrist and seems to be doing everything needed to be middle-ground enough to appease people and win, which seems to be a good tactic even if I don't agree with all of his policies. I align more with the Greens this time but anything is better than the tories

I just know Rishi can't wait to move to California. He was in the saying he'll spend the next five years in , even if the tories lose. That is going to happenΒ :lmao:

Rishi Sunak fleeing to the USA just in time for his brother in Christ Donald Trump to win the US election would be wild

Telling everyone I know - VOTE BASED ON YOUR AREA!!! If it looks like Tories are going to win where you are, vote Labour. If it looks like Labour is going to win where you are, vote Green!!! Tactical voting does NOT mean blindly voting Labour!!Β
Β

edit: Even though Green is not going to win, we all know that, the more Green votes, the better. They’ll get more seats, and will help keep Labour on their left-leaning track.Β

Honestly there's been 3 MPs who stuck it out in my lifetime after losing.

Major, Brown & May. And Sunak is in no way comparable to those 3 in terms of commitment to office. He'll be gone by Monday if he keeps his seat πŸ˜‚

The gays know how to party
