I can assure you that the hate for Katy was pretty minimal through the years, actually the last era was her most liked here. And after reading the whole thread (I also posted here about Luke) I see more Luke hate and disappointment from Katy. And for my own opinion, he was not convicted, but even Cosby was released at the end and Harvey conviction was overruled in NYC. He was not convicted because the juridical system in the USA has a problem and it's not convicting a lot of sex offenders, despite the evidences, even when the rape kit shows that a rape happened. Thanks for the clarification River. I guess my answer is , if folk have a problem just boycott the song, that’s the easiest way. Sadly her last few records all have been just 10-15% too shallow for me. I felt she was almost there, but then f‘d it up for my taste on way or another.
