The Buy Something For Someone Else Thread --- BE HONEST. NO CHEATS!

Ok, so there are at least like 15 standing requests in the Tour Merch thread for fans who want something but live too far away to get it or don't want to pay huge fees through Gaga's online store.

I figured we need a thread for those people.

Here's how it will work:

Step One: If you want something, if you are the Wanter, be REASONABLE.

Please don't request more than one or two or three REASONABLE items for a person to get you.

Step Two: Be Understanding: They may not be able to find EXACTLY what you wanted, but it is understood that if you are a Buyer for a Wanter that you will do your best within your capabilities to get them what they wanted.

Step Three: Be Honest, Wanters. Know in advance how much your item will cost -- and send a Private Message to your Buyer once someone agrees to buy for you, that states EXACTLY how you will pay for your merch, be it PayPal, cash via mail (with TRACKING or you can't do it), or trade.

Step Four: Don't Forget Your Commitment: Keep a list of the merch you are buying your person, and remember to mail it to them promptly (within 2 weeks) and with a tracking number.

Step Five: Have Fun!

Enjoy buying and trading rare merch and making new friends.

Declare below whether you are a Wanter: (state your username and what you want)

or a Buyer (tell which show you are going to and what you might be able to get)

Buyers: remember to work out with the Wanters whether you would like to be paid extra for your troubles.

I offered in the merch thread to buy stuff if people want. My shows are Brooklyn (6th & 7th march), Atlanta (11th March) and Fort Lauderdale (15th March). If too many people ask for stuff, not sure i'll be able to do it all - I'm not made of money (and can't carry heaps of people owing me). ;) But I will try to help out if I can. DM me if you want to make a request and are willing to wait 6 weeks or more to get your stuff. ;)

Another thing to consider is the cost to ship things. Sometimes that can make or break how much you really want the item!

Also, if you want something that doesn't ship to your country, instead of having someone else buy it and paying them back, YOU buy it online, but ship it to their house and they then take it to the post office and address it to you. Makes it easier so you're not sending large sums of money back and forth as much.

Yeah the cost to ship things is huge especially when buying from sites like bravado - which is why I don't get your second idea tbh. You are paying for the item and whatever the crap shipping fees would be to ship to the country it's bought in and then having to send money for someone to pay for postage to send it to your own country. That means you're paying two lots of shipping right?
