Is Charli XCX still mad at Gaga?

I legitimately am asking this because I was wondering if they would ever work together for real.

I guess Charli made some comments that she was asked to be on the Dawn of Chromatica album and Gaga never got back to her after she did it. The way she said it was like she was kind of salty and passively calling out Gaga for not thanking her or touching base with whether or not she enjoyed it. 

I did notice Charli stood up for Gaga when Gaga won at last year's Grammys and mentioned trans people.

But idk...does anyone know anymore else on this? Any update? It seems Charli always said she was inspired by Gaga but Gaga has kind of slept on her. I've never even seen them take photos together.

Ja, during last nights phone call she said she's perfectly fine, xcx remix was dog scheiße but other than that everything's just wonderful.

like, wtf, who cares if these two women get a long or cross paths. Maybe they are besties, not every friendship has to take place on social media or in form of collabs.

I think both are fine. DAWN OF BLOODPOP was an... interesting time too.

Gaga was raving hard to "Guess" and Charli was really cheering her on during the 2024 Grammy speech.

Hi massive Charli fan here since True Romance, seen Charli’s artistic evolution and it doesn’t align with Gaga’s moral views on music and artistry really. Here’s a brief rundown of things based on what I know from being fans of both;

 

Basically DOC was all to do with Bloodpop with no involvement from Gaga beyond her allowing a remix album to be made. But BP practically made it like his own studio album with all his friends on.  Gaga probably didn’t care about a remix or anything and Charli back then (pre-brat) notoriously and self admittedly was just dying to be successful hence why Crash sounded the way it did and ironically brat took off when she stopped caring about success. 
 

Charli is absolutely not an artist Gaga would wanna collaborate with for example; yea she’s a songwriter and has hands in the production, but she herself admits she uses auto tune on every song now and because of that as well as smoking and drinking her actual singing voice isn’t really that good anymore. Charli also has said she prefers being a more socialite person than a musician anyway. So she just likes being famous where as Gaga is the total opposite.

Actually chromatica is made by bl**dpop and it has nothing with gaga i just suppose she only acknowledged that. I am also big fan of charli but not of the words that gaga is not changing her sound or something similar. However i won't say it's a war and we should hate her.

I think Charli was a bit disappointed a few years ago, when she worked very hard on the 911 remix (it was the best of all the remix let's be real) and Gaga never connected with her or gave any feedback except a tiny tweet made by her community manager and a follow

There's definitely no beef, Charli praised Gaga's debut during a recent interview + she was very receptive to her pro trans comment in the 2025's Grammys in the audience. I think she has a lot of respect for Gaga but just doesn't try to connect with her as Gaga doesn't connect with her either

I think all of us would be pissed if we worked for an artist and they wouldn't even send a message like "Hey love the work you did on my song, thanks for your time!" :P Like yea it was more of a BloodPop project, but like.. it's her name on the album, song etc
