No I disagree, I know the point you are trying to make but I feel it's extremely important that we call a spade a spade in society, and we are not afraid to be decisive about what is proper and what is improper, what should and shouldn't be allowed. Otherwise we normalize it

When its 24 hours a day coverage all about being shocked that Trump and his followers, people eventually stop taking it seriously, and his actions becomes normalized. Trump is now just entertainment for most people, even his haters. This doesnt mean we shouldnt criticize him or the crazy things he says, but I think it would be more effective to criticize Trump in a different way than being outraged 24 hours a day.

I think if there was any danger of that, it'd have happened already, 8 years on from his (proper) start in politics.

He is being honest. He doesn’t care about the poorly educated lower class people who vote for him. He won’t do anything for them. He will only help the wealthy who hold fund raisers for him.
