I actually don't think it's a grower.  Like most hyperpop (I use the term loosely as it so vast and constantly changing), you either love it, hate it, or are at best don't get it.  You must be an exception!  hahaaa.

I hated it after first listen when it leaked then gave it another chance a few days later and started to vibe more with it so yes a grower for me.

The apple allegory is so interesting to me. It seems like one of the few songs where charli is talking about her family? Don’t know much about her relationship with them but I think all the ways of talking about the Apple is about them, and it’s so thought provoking… and relatable . Plus it’s just a bop lol
