My thoughts based on how the songs sound/are written (But gaga is incredible and could have had random shifts in creativity during the album process): Can't stop the high, Disease, and Perfect celebrity all had to be written close to one another, or she coincidentally recreated that sound when the project got further. Those 3 songs sound like they would be on an album of their own. If Vanish into You was the first song they did, I would have a strong guess that lovedrug and dont call tonight were close to follow because they seem to fit together well. Also makes sense because if Perfect Celebrity came shortly after, then I can see how she suddenly had the idea to make an album entirely that sound but opted not to because she had already been creating material. Abra, GOE, Zombieboy I think were all made around the same time... and I have a feeling Killah was created either before or after. Shadow of a Man and HBDUWM I think were made around the same time, I have no rationale why except I just feel it in my bones lol. The Beast and Blade of Grass were written at some random point during the process. Also now realizing this isn't helpful for the exact order the songs were written, but more so which songs I think she wrote in clusters. I think she was toying around with ideas for the sound of the album (hence why she said she wrote like over 50 tracks), and ended up mashing everything together. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
