I always wonder why she’s never received the award. Breaks my heart when her art isn’t given the recognition it deserves. 

Maybe I'm the crazy one, but I feel like Katy deserves it? 

Katy has been consistently delivering high-quality creative videos with self-contained storylines, regardless of budget, since 2007. Waking Up In Vegas, California Gurls, Roar, Chained to the Rhythm and Never Really Over can all be taken as examples of this. And pretty much every video from the Teenage Dream era is iconic in its own right. I'm shocked she didn't get this award sooner

I hope Gaga and Katy Perry are collaborating some day. Their Roar vs Applause rivalry back then was iconic retrospectively and they both would easily be able to pull a collab in a sense of "Bang Bang" (that song is the ultimate pop-collab of the 2010s imo)
