She also launched a remix EP that featured reworks of the track done by DJs like SG Lewis, alongside an extended version of the track and an edited version featuring Brandy and Monica. Now, she has followed up the EP with a set of remixes and alternate versions for the album’s second single, “Yes, And?”. The EP includes remixes by The Blessed Madonna, Felix Jaehn, and Jonas Blue, along with an edited version of the track featuring Mariah Carey, and an extended version.

1. Yes, And? (Album Version)

Spoiler

The first track on the EP is the original version of the song, subtitled here "album version"

2. Yes, And? (Extended Version)

Spoiler

The second track on the EP is an extended version of the track, adding an extended intro and an extended outro.

3. Yes, And? (Remix with Mariah Carey)

Spoiler

The EP’s third track is an edited version of the original track featuring guest vocals from Mariah Carey. Ariana’s powerhouse vocals have been compared to Mariah throughout her career, so her added take on the track meshes extremely well with Ari’s verses. In the remix, Mariah takes over the song’s second verse after providing vocals in the song’s introduction. They also harmonize during the song’s bridge and choruses.

4. Yes, And? (Felix Jaehn Remix)

Spoiler

The first DJ remix on the EP and its fourth track is a remix by Felix Jaehn. The remix continues on the house vibe of the original track while adding in a lot of layered synths during the beat drop. The chorus has a signature drop from Felix Jaehn, incorporating elements from dance-pop and EDM. The remix transforms the already danceable track into a summery EDM banger.

5. Yes, And? (Jonas Blue Remix)

Spoiler

The EP’s fifth track is a DJ remix by Jonas Blue. Blue transforms the track into a tropical infused dance-pop track, aligning with his signature sound. The remix samples heavily from a looped electronic piano, evoking elements of 2010s EDM, and pitches and speeds up the original track’s lopped vocal sample.

6. Yes, And? (The Blessed Madonna's Godsquad Remix)

Spoiler

The final track on the EP is a final DJ remix, this one produced by The Blessed Madonna, who also remixed the first single from ‘Eternal Sunshine’, “The Boy Is Mine”. The remix, subtitled, the "Godsquad Remix", transforms the track into an eclectic house-pop song, inspired by The Blessed Madonna’s signature sound - drawing special effects and sonic elements from unconventional sources.

ARIANA GRANDE RELEASES YES, AND? PHYSICAL COPIES ONLINE AND IN SELECT RETAILERS (JULY 8, 2024)

yes-and-remixes-mockup.jpg

Ariana Grande, the pop sensation known for her powerhouse vocals and chart-topping hits, has once again dazzled fans with her newest single "Yes, And?." Released alongside the surprise drop of its parent album and her seventh, 'Eternal Sunshine', the single has sat at number two on global music charts for two weeks. Ariana kicked off the 'Eternal Sunshine' era with its multi-week number one lead single, "The Boy Is Mine", accompanied by a huge music video and an impressive campaign that included Saturday Night Live and The Graham Norton Show, among other outlets around the world. She also released physical formats of the single for her fans to purchase. To keep the momentum going, and to continue on the strategy built with "The Boy Is Mine" and releasing the singles in physical formats, Ariana has made CD and 7" vinyl copies of "Yes, And?" and its remix EP widely available.

Fans can now purchase the CD version of "Yes, And?" through several key outlets, including of course her official website: arianagrande.com/shop. For fans in the United States, they can also check their local Walmart for CD copies of the newest single, much like the CD single of "The Boy Is Mine". The store chain no longer boasts a huge music section, but fans can still find selected releases from various artists, including newer ones and landmark releases - including this one. For fans in Japan, the UK, and Canada, they can pick up the CD at HMV. The CD single includes all of the tracks included on the digital release of 'Yes, And? - Remixes EP' in the same order with the same lengths.

The vinyl variant of "Yes, And?" is more similar to the copies released in support of "The Boy Is Mine". While the CD format includes the single's remixes and an extended edit, the vinyl version is a 7" record with the album version of "Yes, And?" on the A-side and its instrumental solo track on the B-side. The vinyl version is available only on arianagrande.com/shop, unlike the CDs which are available at Walmart and HMV in select countries. "The Boy Is Mine" followed the same availability structure, leading fans to flock to both their local Walmart or HMV stores and Ariana's online shop.

Ariana had also previously hosted "Boy" pop-up shops in major cities around the globe during the debut week of "The Boy Is Mine", where a unique slipcover CD version of the single was sold alongside showcases, props, and other merchandise from throughout her career and its various eras.

Monday 08/07/2024 - Dua Lipa on Watch What Happens

maxresdefault.jpg

**Andy Cohen:** Hey everybody, welcome back to "Watch What Happens Live!" I'm so excited about tonight's guest. She’s a Grammy-winning pop sensation, and she’s here to talk about her new album "Radical Optimism" and her latest single, "These Walls." Please welcome Dua Lipa!

**Dua Lipa:** Hi, Andy! So great to be here.

**Andy Cohen:** It’s great to have you, Dua. Congratulations on the release of "Radical Optimism." The title alone is so intriguing. Can you tell us what inspired it?

**Dua Lipa:** Thank you so much! The idea behind "Radical Optimism" came during a period when I felt like there was so much negativity around us. I wanted to create something that would lift people up and remind them of the power of positivity. It’s about finding light even in the darkest times.

**Andy Cohen:** That’s beautiful. And your latest single, "These Walls," has been getting so much buzz. What’s the story behind that track?

**Dua Lipa:** "These Walls" is really special to me. It’s about breaking down emotional barriers and letting people in. The metaphor of walls represents the barriers we put up to protect ourselves, but sometimes those walls keep us from experiencing true connection and love.

**Andy Cohen:** The lyrics are so powerful, and the music video is stunning. Can you tell us a bit about the creative process behind the video?

**Dua Lipa:** Absolutely! I wanted the video to visually represent the song’s theme of breaking free. We used a lot of symbolic imagery—like walls crumbling and light pouring in—to convey the transformation that happens when you open yourself up emotionally. It was an incredible project to work on, and I’m so happy with how it turned out.

**Andy Cohen:** Speaking of opening up, your music often feels very personal. Is it challenging to share so much of yourself with the world?

**Dua Lipa:** It can be, but it’s also very rewarding. Music is my way of processing emotions and experiences, so sharing it feels natural. If my songs can help someone else feel understood or less alone, then it’s all worth it.

**Andy Cohen:** That’s a great perspective. Now, I have to ask—what’s your favorite track on "Radical Optimism"?

**Dua Lipa:** That’s like asking me to choose between my babies! [laughs] But if I had to pick one, it might be "Phoenix Rising." It’s about rebirth and resilience, which ties into the whole theme of the album. It’s a very empowering song for me.

**Andy Cohen:** I love that. "Phoenix Rising" is a fantastic track. So, what’s next for you? Any plans for a tour?

**Dua Lipa:** Definitely! We’re planning a tour for later this year. I’m so excited to perform these new songs live and connect with my fans in person. It’s been too long!

**Andy Cohen:** We can’t wait to see you on tour! Before we go, we have a quick game for you. It’s called "Radically Optimistic or Pessimistic." I’ll say a scenario, and you tell us if you’re feeling optimistic or pessimistic about it. Ready?

**Dua Lipa:** Let’s do it!

**Andy Cohen:** First one: the future of pop music.

**Dua Lipa:** Radically optimistic!

**Andy Cohen:** Finding true love.

**Dua Lipa:** Optimistic, for sure.

**Andy Cohen:** World peace.

**Dua Lipa:** Radically optimistic. We have to believe it’s possible.

**Andy Cohen:** I love that positivity! Thank you so much for being here, Dua. "Radical Optimism" is out now, and "These Walls" is a must-listen. We’ll be looking forward to your tour!

**Dua Lipa:** Thanks, Andy! It’s been great talking with you.

**Andy Cohen:** And thank you all for watching. Stay tuned for more on "Watch What Happens Live!"
