The "be free" parts felt so empowering in the film. Born This Way - got emotional watching her perform this song in the film. It's a testament that she loves the gays so much. Those paws up shots! Free Woman and BTW aren't my top LG songs but they are one of the best parts in the film It gave me a deeper level of appreciation for the song thanks to the film. EGOT2027 10,966 Posted May 28, 2024 Author Share Posted May 28, 2024 i still cannot get over how emotional the monster performance makes me. the way the entire thing is a homage to the monster ball, even down to the reference to the iconic blood jump out. i used to watch that performance over and over again as a kid. i was obsessed with the whole bit with the bridge and her going down and jumping back out. i love love love that she wanted to reference the monster ball with this tour.
