It's not ridiculous because it's the time every American TV show on streaming platforms premieres, and since it's an HBO release, the people using Max (not only in the US) will be able to stream it immediately after or a day later or whenever they want.

The problem is that Max is not available worldwide but the release times are always set on US time zones

i will say that it is possible those streaming it via MAX may be able to start it a few minutes earlier… i remember watching HOTD and GOT live and the streaming platforms always posted the episodes 3-5 minutes earlier to watch 🤪… it could happen again tonight but who knows

GCB will premiere on HBO in Southeast Asia on 9pm JKT/10pm SG. The real question is when it will premiere on HBO GO (ASEAN version of MAX)
