On first read I thought you meant HBO were backtracking on the countries they’d already announced, but that’s not the case. It’s LGN backtracking on their own statement.

Still a shame because I wish it was streaming here in the UK on the same day, but we already knew it wouldn’t be. This isn’t Gaga’s team going back on what they said - it was announced from the beginning that some territories have yet to get a streaming date.

Did the networks not like it enough to justify spending however much HBO was asking for? Surely after the success of Eras and Renaissance they’d be jumping at the chance to have a tour film by a big name, no?

Nah, this sh*t wouldn’t happen to Bey, Taylor or Billie. Their teams would make sure something like this reaches every major/important market for their star. No excuses.

well no cus their teams have no influence at HBO lol, they'd just pull the project and then nobody gets it

beyonce's team completely screwed up the physical release of CC so idk why you think her team is so perfect when they couldn't even sell the same record that's on streaming

This takes two year to announced, I feel terrible HBO cannot do something during those time to sexure deals with some countries?!! Either they didn't try hard enough to sell this, or people thinks Gaga is not popular anymore, (to their own discredit ), and perhaps thinks the offered price are too high because of that, cos ain't no way...

Tbh, the fact it took this long for this project to be released is mind-boggling. And if this is for the fans, then a theatrical release, even if for just a few dates, should’ve also been secured. My point is, why are we settling for the bare minimum? Again, no excuses. And you can go ahead and have the last word, I won’t discuss this any further. Instead, I’ll just wait for Saturday and enjoy, as I’m still excited for this.
