The Marvel Cinematic Universe still has plenty of superheroes to bring to the screen. Especially now that Marvel Studios is beginning to introduce the X-Men, there are virtually no limits to how many characters they can adapt. As such, fans might be excited to learn that Taylor Swift has reportedly met with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige to discuss a role in the MCU.

Obviously having someone like Taylor Swift would be a major win for the cinematic franchise of film and television properties. After all, Swift’s popularity only continues to grow, and there’s no doubt her fans would be more than happy to support any potential acting career she decides to tackle.

The insider has claimed that Taylor Swift has met with Kevin Feige to discuss a potential role in the MCU. Details beyond that are scarce, but hopefully more details will surface soon. Swift is certainly showing no signs of slowing down in her growing career, so perhaps a jump to the Marvel Cinematic Universe does make sense.

Interestingly, previous rumors have suggested that Taylor Swift could even be appearing in the MCU as soon as the upcoming movie Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters. The role she’s been most rumored to take on is Dazzler, a member of the X-Men that has a life as a pop star. Obviously Swift would be a perfect fit for the role, and according to insider DanielRPK, Kevin Feige thinks so as well.

Apparently the show is for Blone Phantom:

Spoiler

The Blonde Phantom (Louise Grant Mason) is a fictional masked crime fighter appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created for Marvel predecessor Timely Comics by Stan Lee and Syd Shores, the character first appeared in All Select Comics #11 (cover-dated Fall 1946), during the 1940s period fans and historians call the Golden Age of Comic Books. The heroine was so well received that the next issue was retitled The Blonde Phantom. The series continued to feature her until issue #22 (March 1949).

The Blonde Phantom had no superhuman powers. She is an athletic woman, a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, and a fine markswoman with the conventional handgun she carried. She also possesses excellent secretarial skills, as the secretary for the Mark Mason Detective Agency, and later as the secretary of New York City District Attorney Blake Tower.

Seems like sensible move after such a high in music world. Especially since this will not be needing serious acting chops yet. If this is true, hope there are a lot of camp going around alla Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman TV series, cos the Blonde Phantom character seems to ooze a lot of that. :flower:

At this point I can’t wait for the inevitable scandal that ruins her career to emerge.

REALITY

I don’t believe this. DanielRPK is fairly reliable, but this is the first time I feel like he’s “reporting” on something solely for social media engagement. I get that Taylor is popular, but making her the lead of a Marvel show sounds ridiculous, especially when the consensus is that she can’t act.

i don't necessarily want that

but i also don't think any scandal (unless pics of her doing sc*t with shia labeouf) could cancel Taylor
