My thinking has changed since the Alice teaser. I'm on board now. It'll be neat to have something more akin to a narrative production rather than an HD version of what's already on YouTube. Just compare the what we have to the Eras Tour.  Taylor’s opening is a clock with a wispy musical intro before rising from beneath a bunch of pastel fans.  TCB opening is EPIC, but is harsh and dark, almost meant to simulate some form of torture (my interpretation) and then Gaga appears in a sarcophagus.  The most provocative/sexual moment in Eras is the choreo in Vigilante S***, and even then it is a clear homage to Cell Block Tango/Chicago.  Gaga’s outfit for Replay couldn’t be shown on national TV.  Even looking at the actual music, Taylor has a lot of songs about love & heartbreak.  The darkest moments of her show are when she sings about loneliness and sorrow, and she never makes any statements about the state of the world.  Gaga doesn’t hide the fact she is singing about physical pleasure (LoveGame, Sour Candy), antipsychotics (911), harmful experiences (Monster), and political issues (Born This Way, Angel Down).  For people who are fans of Gaga and seen her consistently innovate for over a decade, nothing on this tour is a surprise.  However, anyone who isn’t familiar with Gaga pre-Cheek to Cheek will be shocked. I guess you're right. As a long-time Gaga fan and gay, I'm not shocked by her bloody translucent Replay outfit with Xs over her nips But I suppose the rest of America will be
