Would you be uncomfortable if Gaga collaborated with Taylor?

Then your reading comprehension is debatable if that's what you're getting out of it.

Read it fine and know what they meant, just it is incredibly unfair to say someone is EXACTLY like Kanye West when they haven’t done nearly the same amount of outrageous things or gotten the same level of media coverage. If OP had said “Taylor has become like Kanye in the regard that..” or something among those lines. But to say she has become exactly like Kanye is just plain rude lol

As if Taylor was the most problematic person Gaga could collaborate with… What a strange question.

Also, the Kanye comparison is absolutely bonkers.

He is literally only talking about the mic grabbing mentality. Let's not create a hen out of a feather.

She still hasn’t done anything nearly as offensive as what he did to her back then… That comparison is an absolute biased reach through and through.

I love Taylor’s music, so no. I do, however, see that never happening. Their music is too different in terms of lyrics/production.

I would just not listen to the song :laughga:

I don't listen to Sour Candy, it wouldn't be difficult to skip Starbucks Barista Change or whatever they write

It would depend on the song. Provided Taylor wasn't singing on it, and had nothing to do with its composition, then yeah, go for it.

I don't think their styles or voices blend at all tbh but it'd be interesting if it happened.

But not some folks acting like a Taylor collab would be morally iffy for Gaga.

Need I point you to the following:
Richy
Terry
R Kelly

Oh and when has Taylor grabbed a mic from somebody at an awards show? I’m not even a Taylor Stan I actually kind of hate her but at least use valid points to criticize her idk

Even though this is AI, I'd be so here for Gaga singing one of Taylor's "quill" songs. Definitely not her glitter gel pen songs, though.

Gaga was never popular to the general public, she was extremely hated, she only had a huge fanbase. I think Gaga is more popular now than ever before in terms if the general public.

If it happens, I'll listen to it. I enjoy Clean because Imogen Heap is on it so maybe I'll like a Taylor/Gaga joint.

But, at this point in Gaga's career, my fantasy is her sticking to collabs with up-and-coming artists with promise and The Greats™️

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

I'll still pass tbh

Taylor's just the absolute antithesis of what I enjoy :laughga:

Her production is basic, repetitive, and unimaginative. The only way it could get worse is a Taylor/Bloodpop collab...ugh. A terrifying thought.

Her lyrics are either so simple they're boring or so "complex" they're pretentious and make me roll my eyes 'cause it sounds like an 8th grader found a thesaurus.

Her voice, even replicated in Gaga's voice, is about as unique as the production and the vocal feats her stans love to brag about could be blown away by one of Gaga's sneezes.

Every. single. song. is about a breakup, romance, or her being the victim somehow. The subject matter is played tf out. I'd beg her to write about literally anything else other than love or "poor me".

And her worst offense, in my eyes, is that her music is pushed as a product first, right down to the predatory business tactics. Watching her sit at #1 while other artists fight for a top 20 hit is like watching someone tear down an art museum to build a Walmart.

That's the main reason I'd skip a Gaga/Taylor collab. I know it'd immediately be Gaga's worst song and I hate the idea of Gaga being near her bad vibes.

Glad her fans like her, and I don't hate her, but I have zero respect for her as an artist.
