And probably the same for most people around my age. Back then whatever was pop music was played on TV and radio, and basically everyone knew of all the current pop songs and artists. i always remembered when i searched her name on google back in summer 2009 then this one showed up at the very first second, ICONIC 

 

if we're talk about in person it would be this one, she performed at fulfillment amphitheatre in taichung back in 2011 for a showcase called Lady Gaga Day for 4000 taiwanese monsters inside (i was there).
also there are more than 30000 fans outside around the theatre, so she decided to sing 5 more songs for us (9 total).

I remember thinking 'oh no, and now they go for that fashion girl...' Then I watched AHS Hotel as fan of the series and ended up as a stan of Gaga. In glitter pasties and g-string. Oh my.
