The title of the article from the nypost (horrible source) and even this thread would make you believe he purposely wanted him because he was a self proclaimed Neo-Nazi, so it’s not your fault for thinking that.

It’s sad enough that he was murdered, but I really don’t like reading that a Jewish person purposely wanted a Nazi for sex when that isn’t being said here. The article was victim blamey kinda right off the bat.

From what I read, he knew he was far-right, it's just that he didn't know he joined a violent anti-gay group.

My problem with what you copied and every other article I read is that they aren’t saying how the friends and him were describing Woodward in the texts, if they ever did at all. So the first part you underlined is just a description of the defendant by the journalist, with similar descriptions- “ultra-conservative” “far right” “Neo-Nazi” - in other articles as well. But these descriptions are coming from evidence that has come out after the investigation, showing that he 100% is. Bernstein and his friends could have thought of him as right wing or a republican. There is a difference between that and being a neo-nazi. While I can definitely believe he would have a fantasy possibly about that- having sex with a conservative- I have a problem with stating that a Jewish person would seek out a neo-nazi when that hasn’t been specifically verbatim shown to us here.
