julz 5,547 Posted March 28 Share Posted March 28 Listening half way through... the album is definitely easier to listen to. I cannot compare this to Renaissance, this is on it's own league. There are definitely strong country influences that have been meshed with other genres. It's definitely not like Texas Hold Em and Sinners Prayer. It reminds me of how Madonna added country influences to Music. Like you wouldn't call Music a country album but it definitely has strong country influences. I hate country music and I love this album. I was not hyped for this album at all because I thought it was going to sound like a hillbilly country album.
