If you don’t vote for Biden democracy in America is over

simple as that

Do I want to vote for him? No

do I want him to be president for another 4 years? No

I want someone younger

vote Biden and once he wins I hope the Democratic Party will get their sh*t together and promote young and poc candidates that people WANT to see become president in 2028

Trump has so much dirt on him, surely we don’t need to spread out of context clips to get people to understand what he stands for.

He's just such a rancid pile of sh*t :lmao:

Like, comic villain evil, it's insane that even a single person can look at this clown and say "yup, that's my president!"

Eh, figured it’s worth reiterating. Also: how is this out of context? Per MSNBC, the comment is tangentially proceeded by comments about China + the auto industry, but it’s directly followed by him saying that if he loses, there won’t be another election in this country. At best, it’s a projection of conspiratorial predictions of a “Biden dictatorship,” but more likely (given his promises of “bedlam” + “chaos” if he’s convicted and promises of exacting revenge on his opponents + sending the military after protestors in a second term) it’s merely an admission of his intention of inciting violence (as he’s already done after losing the last election) if he loses this one.

He also literally says that the auto industry issue will be “the least of” the problems and that, if he loses the election, it’s going be a “bloodbath for the whole nation.” He explicitly divorced the “bloodbath” comment from the auto industry concerns.

He’s talking about Chinese companies selling Americans made in Mexico products. It’s out of context because the whole clip is him saying there would be a bloodbath in relation to American dependence on foreign made products / American jobs lost, if he weren’t president to make a tariff. Again, not a trump supporter, but we can do better than share out of context clips.

@Ladle Ghoulash, just now seeing you edited your comment after I suppose you actually looked up the context of the clip after I pointed it out.

My point still stands, people on social media are taking that clip out of context and spreading it how you and others are with the purpose of making it seem like he’s discussing something else. We can do better than that as he’s done and said some terrible stuff. Like supporting an actual insurrection that was bad enough for his VP to completely disown him.

I don’t think it’s out of context at all. He literally said if he loses the election, the auto industry issue will be “the least of our concerns” and that it will be a “bloodbath for the whole country.” Actually feels like borderline doing the PR work of Trump’s campaign to try to clean up a comment that is reckless at best and dangerous at worst.

You uncovered me! I’m a Trump ally here to ensure his PR on GagaDaily ay ok as I state he supported an insurrection. :ladyhaha: and this is why political discourse is useless on the internet, because if I call out people for not knowing the context of a clip they can simply do a google search to find a way to justify their original opinion, and when worse comes to worse accuse me of doing PR work.

So instead of responding to the substance of how I think the quote is not out of context, you insist that you’re right and play the victim because I said your clarification mirrored the messaging from Trump’s campaign. Cute. Couldn’t just take the L and are trying to make me look uninformed by *checks notes* citing a source and providing context. Well, that’s a new one!

That “bloodbath” comment seemed in context to the auto-industry. It seems the media is running with this comment and it’s actually worse in the long run because it validates Trump supporters and others in their belief that the media is out to get Trump.

Regardless, he shouldn’t be using apocalyptic rhetoric (which is what he always uses).
