This is why I rarely believe people who make their abuse claims (of any variety) on social media. It's not that I don't want to believe them (I always want to believe any victim), but it's just too easy misremember or get the facts wrong or (in this case) flat out lie. 

Until someone actually goes to the authorities, I just assume it's hearsay or one version of events that may or may not have validity. Once the police are involved? Then I take it more seriously.
