MGM denies Bruno Mars has $50 MILLION in gambling debt with casino

Bruno Mars is reportedly broke. According to popular news network News Nation, the pop singer owes as much as $50 million to MGM casino in Las Vegas. 

He announced a multi-year residency with MGM Resorts International in 2016, performing at the hospitality giant’s Park MGM resort in Las Vegas.

However, the relationship between the 38-year-old and the hospitality giant may have gone sour as the singer’s gambling has allegedly racked up large debts at the poker tables in Las Vegas, according to NewsNation.

The singer, who once supported himself as a professional poker player, has been known to rack up large debts at the tables, but a well placed Vegas insider said, “He owes millions to the MGM (from gambling).” His debts have gotten as high as $50 million, the source added.

“[MGM] basically own him. He makes $90 million a year off of the deal he did with the casino, but then he has to pay back his debt,” added the insider, claiming that the singer only makes $1.5 million per night after taxes.

Meanwhile, it seems Mars’ feud with Anderson Paak — the other half of Silk Sonic — is over. The fight “which was about money of course — Anderson wanted more,” our insider said. Silk Sonic has dates set for The Park at MGM starting in May.

What the- I am so shocked by this, he’s literally one of the most succesful solo male artists ever, I would assume he made a lot of money, if this source is true, that would mean he allegedly lost it all on gambling AND owes 50M too? Bro...

My brother in law battled a crippling gambling addiction. It cost him everything: His wife (my sister), his kids, multiple jobs, his friends (everyone got sick of loaning him money). He's finally back on his feet, but man. It was ugly. 

Because it's not alcohol or drugs it feels like a different thing, but gambling destroy lives just as much as those addictions.

Not a fan of Bruno, but I hope he gets the help he needs if true.
