It has already. When she released the first two songs some people had some very problematic things to say. Sadly the release of the album will not be any better.

I think it’s quite indicative of the direction. If Renaissance was an era defined by femininity and elegance, this one is clearly not. It sounds a little more rough n tumble, a little more rebellious and raucous. I think it’ll come together well

Now that we know the "R" theme isn't gonna be followed (renaissance, reclamation, revolution, etc...) I'm even more excited for the possibilities of act iii. After seeing how perfect the name Renaissance encompassed act i, I wonder what all Cowboy Carter is gonna represent.
