Ultimecia 4,686 Posted February 21 Share Posted February 21 The fact that "Fortnite Festival" did not exist as a game mode until very recently, and Gaga's appearance being tied to that mode exclusively, means they had to actively work on and or rework this content very recently as well. Plans for LG7 build up or integration could have easily been added then. This is not just rehashed content that was planned 4 years ago in order to fulfill a contract and be done with it, this is a very strategic move to build up publicity. Time. (Since the in-game season lasts until April 22nd) There is no doubt for me that this collab coming out now is part of the rollout leading to LG7. Time.
