Either underwhelmed or not really connecting to their new eras. Been finding more solace in EDM and Dance music (Tiesto, Martin Garrix). But kudos to anyone that did love this version. Then I listened to it three hours later and yeah, it does sound like it was recorded last night and they didn’t have time to mix it. The House beats scream anthemic, yet Ariana's voice sounds sweet and clam-- maybe too calm in my opinion. The lyrics... i love mimi but she didn't vibe at all. And also the autotune, like cmon, and the other girl disappeared. No this was a complete waste of everything. I am genuinely shocked someone with the quality track record that Ariana has could put out something so wretched.
