I actually HATE this. I hate hate hate that technology is evolving to a point where we will very soon literally not know what is real and what's not. Imagine the propaganda. Very real things caught on camera or audio that can just be claimed as AI and forgotten about. The fact that no evidence will ever hold up in court again. The amount of creative careers that are going to be ruined. The very bland, fast-food style media we will be fed, scamming about to go off

But anyway, Pandora's box is open so it's too late, there no going back. It's adapt and embrace it, or get left behind

I really do not like the implications of this.

The advancement in technology is wonderful. It's impressive to see that technology is capable of something like this. However, this just doesn't feel right to be used by so many. That overrides the impressiveness for me.

Oh scamming is going to go CRAZY now that we can replicate anyone's voice, combine AI with deepfakes to replicate their faces, totally generate audio video and images

Also PSA to everyone: scammers can already clone phone numbers, so it looks like your family or friend or your bank or doctors or anyone is calling you. Stay wary
