I've always assumed this is a Drama/Thriller movie with Music elements in there. Just like A Star Is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody weren't musicals, they were Drama movies with music in there, that's why they were nominated in the Drama category at the Golden Globes instead of Musical/Comedy.

A lot of people have jumped to conclusions since this was announced and they keep thinking it's some type of Mary Poppins movie.
