I still really wanna watch it! Definitely this weekend. I think the Venom movies are just okay. Moribus was bad. It just sucks that these studios spend so much money on stuff that could be really good if they got real fans of the comics to help craft the storylines. The same people who wrote Moribus wrote this so that’s rather telling.

Dakota kinda said that they didn’t even tell them that it’s not MCU, so all this time the cast thought that they are a part of the MCU 🥴

Mess. I had plans to watch this but Past Lives and May December are right there and then Zone of Interest comes out this weekend. So much to see.

The movie looks like a parody of superhero movies tbh. Deadpool 3 and Joker 2 are really gonna come in and save Marvel and DC  (well, DC kinda since it's an Elseworlds movie)

I wish people could just enjoy stuff. 

Im seeing it Thursday and Im looking forward to it still. I've watched a lot of comic movies that people have said are "the worst movies ever" like Venom, Suicide Squad, WW 84 and the newer Fantastic Four and i've enjoyed them all. They are COMIC BOOK movies... I think the MCU is the worst thing thats happened to comic book movies because people now expect that every comic movies has to be MCU level of quality to be enjoyable and thats not true.

I get Madame Web is a very odd character to give her own solo movies and she's not really a character that people say "Oh shes my favorite Spider Person"  and I can see why this isn't appealing to a big audience but I actually enjoy the Madame Web character and I also REALLY love the Julia Carpenter Spider Woman and she's one of my favorite comic heroes so thats why im looking forward to this movie and regardless of that the reviews say to me it looks enjoyable and just a fun popcorn super hero movie and to me it looks no better or no worse than the Rami Spidey Trilogy honestly....
