I literally have that dark hair foil text edition. I'm literally staring at it right now because I had to double check because I thought I was going insane but it comes with the standard disc of The Fame??

Well I looked on eBay and people are selling the standard edition CD that only has the 8 tracks

Also even the standard edition of TFM I have has the The Fame included in it.

The first editions of darkhairga was originally the deluxe edition with TF. But then bc Gaga wanted blondhair to represent the deluxe, and darkhair to represent standard, they reversed it. So the first few editions are with dark hair on deluxe and blonde on standard. But soon after they swapped. I hope I'm being clear lmao. None of you are wrong per se. But TFM is sold as just 8 songs as well. And with TF bundle as well. Just the covers went through a swap.

In a legal music industry sense, EP’s can be an expansion of a previously released LP if the artist and label so desire. This was the case for Gaga, but she personally declares it a separate piece as well. In the end, it doesn’t really matter: it still slays

Only the deluxe version is on sale right now. Deluxe being TFM+TF. 

But previous poster is also right because TFM used to have a standard version only consisting of the 8 songs. However, it's not considered a studio album. Just an extended version of TF. But because Gaga wanted the 8 songs to stand on it's own (mainly because she used to be very against the idea of artists re-releasing their albums with a few additional songs) so she had the EP with the 8 songs as the standard version of The Fame Monster.

The Fame Monster (8 Track) was sold as a standalone, yes. But it primarily was sold as the double album with The Fame.
