I still think we are getting an Electric Chapel type of sound: Dark rock, with electric beats to tie in the classical instruments such as the brass. 
 

plus: Bloody Mary, Judas, Government Hooker, and Heavy Metal Lover are all trending on TikTok. These songs all have that similar mood, perhaps it inspired Gaga into that direction sonically?

I've just been looking through Andrew Watt's discography and it's very interesting and looks promising. I would love a 'Midnight Sky'' sound.

But again, Gaga can be unpredictable, and will do the opposite of what we are expecting.

Her magnum opus is and will forever be Born this way for a lot of reasons.

That era was coming at a time when she was on the top of the world, the first internet mega star, she was pushing her limits and health in very dangerous ways. 

She was on a lot of dr*s while writing for that album - like it or not but there's a good reason BTWs lyrics are so good.

She had a different motivation back then. Now she knows she doesn't have to prove anyone anything. Aaand she also was the right person in the right place at the right time.

Anyway, I feel excited for this new era 🥹🥹🥹

If my @weed-destroyed memory serves me correct, Perfect Illusion literally jumped out of nowhere and we had no idea for producers except maybe a Mark Ronson insta post months prior?

Stupid Love we knew BloodFlop had a few posts with her but that of course was stretched out over a year.

I wouldn’t say anyone is saying it is her magnum opus but hoping that it will be, but you make many valid points. One can wish nonetheless 🙏🏽

I feel like the album could have different sounds from all different types of music put together, which I'm thinking because of her outfits changing styles and the fact that electric guitar/tambourine/trumpets and stuff -they don't usually go together

Because I genuinely have nothing against trumpets (or another jazz record, especially if it's solo). I was just surprised to see it, based on the little info of her studio endeavours so far

IIRC there was a studio pic with Kevin Parker back in the summer before the single dropped that mentioned Perfect Illusion.

i truly think she’s in a good place and is taking time to make something great. she deserves a critically acclaimed record - and if it takes her longer than usual then so be it!
