Dennis 8,391
which one of y'all snitched on the obscure song that is Fashion? No way Bill Maher would've found out about it on his own
RAMROD 104,126
I have a great dislike to this guy. F him tbh. His "I'm in the middle, I'd befriend conservatives & liberals all the same" politics doesn't serve anybody. weed 70,901
He's just mad she has more money than him. He's a loser, never been a fan and he ensures it with the stupid sh*t he says. Is Gaga materialistic? Perhaps! Compared to people of similar net worth, not really!
Sepsami 17,705
Gaga herself stated that the FAME was never about the money or actual fame, FAME was about FEELING famous as in being confident in your ability and in your work. She literally said she was always "famous", a perfect analogy for a starting artist trying to make it in pop music imo
Chromatography 9,882
using examples from the fame is just weird. i interpret that entire album as satirical and a commentary on materialism and fame, not embracing it. if anything, he should use examples over the last 7 years or so. this is not to insult her but she has definitely become more deserving of the critique. the medication commercial, HLs, Tudor watch/champagne/etc partnerships. I'm finding it v difficult to believe this man has listened to The Fame from back to front lmfao my head is filled with broken mirrors, so many I can't look away
djBuffoon 11,997
Bill Maher has officially morphed into the “get off my lawn” geezer. He posits arrogant, boneheaded grievances about every facet of society, including those which he benefits from, without ever offering any substantive solutions. Exhausting as fück. Frankenztein 1,172
Fashion was never officially released by Gaga. Bill using an unreleased song as an example shows his team had to scrap the bottom of the barrel to find a song from Gaga that would push their narrative. Yes, she is materialistic in certain ways, but she has never made that a feature of her music. She is basically the worst artist they could have picked to make their point on that.
